Packard wore the green fatigues before they flew to the island. When they took off to the island where they were “red shirted” by Kong, Packard was wearing a one piece Sage Green flight suit. Everything else is correct.

No it isn’t; the gloves are not those shooting gloves… He’s wearing military issue nomex flight gloves in the film. The flight suit was an olive drab, not sage green (USAF Flintshire are sage – which is greyish – Packard is wearing a U.S. army helicopter flightsuit… It’s green). His fatigues aren’t the 3rd pattern jungle utilities shown above, but 2nd pattern jungle fatigues (with shoulder loops).
